Criteria

This call for innovation challenge is open to any registered local actors that meet the eligibility criteria. This can be such as government entities including state institution, private entities, non-governmental organisation (NGO), universities or research centre, communities. Entities must focus on solutions that address a development need and assure viability in local conditions. Entities must promote sustainability and scalability of the proposed solution. Entities must meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • Registered entity: The lead applicant must be a registered entity with any government registration.
  • Partnership with at least local actor: Applicants must partner with at least one local actor to ensure viability of the proposed solution within local conditions and to ensure feasible implementation on any islands in Malaysia.

Rules

  • Each entity may only submit one application.
  • Deadline for application is to be strictly respected. In the evaluation process, only complete applications will be accepted for assessment for shortlisting onwards.
  • All submitted documents can be in English or Bahasa Malaysia language.
  • UNDP will examine the proposal to confirm that all terms and conditions under the UNDP General Terms and Conditions and Special Conditions have been accepted by the Proposer without any deviation or reservation.
